Self Ligating Braces
If the prospect of traditional braces doesn’t appeal, self-ligating braces work without the necessity of an elastic module, which some people can find cumbersome due to the discomfort and even sores due to the rubbing of materials against the sensitive inner mouth.
Without the need for the elastic, these self-ligating braces work with the inclusion of a clip that holds the wire in place, making for a less invasive set within the mouth. Available in ceramic and metal brackets, these braces are decidedly less noticeable than traditional braces, keeping the procedure effective yet discreet.
