Tooth whitening
Tooth whitening treatments are non-invasive and are designed to improve the colour of your natural teeth. The process is completely safe and the colour change is long lasting. If your teeth are undamaged and healthy the treatment can simply make them look significantly brighter. If however, your teeth are discoloured or heavily filled, treatment can be used alongside restorative dentistry to improve your smile in the best possible way.
At 128 Harley Street Dental Suite we provide you with custom made bleaching trays for both the upper and lower teeth. The trays are designed to hold the bleaching gel on to the teeth.

How does teeth whitening work?
You use the gel as prescribed by your dentist and it will gradually improve the color of your teeth day by day. You may even notice a difference within a day or two. You can take the trays off at any time and you can also reuse them when you wish to brighten your teeth again.
Fillings, crowns and veneers are not affected by the whitening and their colour will not be changed. As the colour of your teeth lightens any dark restorations will become more obvious and you may want to discuss follow up treatment with your dentist.
